Next-level solutions
Threats evolve. So do our solutions. We invest continuously in research and innovation. This ensures that our SmartFlow technology keeps advancing and our customers’ compliance programs remain effective against new and emerging industry threats.
Next-level phone home solutions
Infringers are becoming more sophisticated, and basic phone home approaches can be easily blocked or worked around.
Cylynt has spent a decade analyzing the problem and has developed many standout features in SmartFlow to ensure that data always has the best chance of phoning home.
With multiple phone home options and different layers of protection, our solutions help to track, identify and take action on unauthorized software use.
Offline piracy tracking
Detect infringers – even when they are not online. Our next-level solutions help to track all instances of unauthorized software usage, including offline piracy tracking.
Many software manufacturers find their license compliance programs are stagnating; they need to adapt their strategy to counter emerging threats such as offline usage.
With SmartFlow, you can track software utilization anywhere in the world and report back (phone home) on all machines using your software illegally – even those trying to escape their compliance obligations by operating offline.
Associate more data points
SmartFlow’s powerful correlation engine can increase event matching rates.
Usage tracking data including geolocation and telemetry data is sent to SmartFlow CMS. There the data is enriched with extra sources and quality is improved (data scrubbing). Data on events and machine groups is visualized and can be filtered to reveal correlations and clusters.
When event data is sent to SmartFlow, it includes multiple data points which must be linked to a specific organization to build a compliance case. If some data points link to one organization, but other data are unclear or may relate to other organizations, SmartFlow can search for additional data points to link events.
This results in larger, cleaner data sets which reveal previously hidden insights and reduces manual correlation work by 60-70%.
Advanced business logic and automated data analysis
Uncover more infringements and save more time: combine business logic with automation.
SmartFlow’s business logic identifies infringing organizations and maps events to organizations. The CMS automates the data enrichment and analysis process to add context and qualify infringements. It then auto-matches additional machines to organizations and links them to events.
This results in a higher correlation rate.
With SmartFlow, license compliance teams can link more machines to more organizations with less work, and map out supply chain piracy.
SmartFlow saves time spent manually mapping correlations, increases matching rates, and delivers the data required to take effective action on non-compliance.
Multi-deployment tracking and credential sharing solutions
High value B2B software is no longer deployed solely on-premise. That’s why our next-level solutions for SaaS help you track usage of software deployed in the cloud, hybrid and on-premise, identify infringers and take action – all in the same case management system.
SmartFlow solves the challenge of determining where and when credentials are used by collecting multiple data fields to identify unique machines. SmartFlow maps usage data to find all unauthorized usage, distinguish it from usage by the named user, and calculate opportunity revenue. This enables compliance teams to identify, prove and take action on password and credential sharing along with other unlicensed software usage events.
SmartFlow provides a complete solution to find, identify and convert every license infringement, whether your software is deployed locally or hosted. Learn more about our credential sharing detection and multi-deployment tracking solutions for SaaS.
Product mapping with Machine Learning
SmartFlow uses the power of Machine Learning to take the pain out of product mapping.
Software telemetry data typically has certain challenges (noise/ fragmentation). Historically these inconsistencies required a lot of manual maintenance and frequent data sanitization.
With SmartFlow, once you have mapped an initial set of data, Machine Learning takes over the data sanitization and standardization.
This saves time-consuming, repetitive manual work, protects data quality and helps to reveal version-specific issues or gaps in infringement data.
